

vJoy is also necessary, as it creates the virtual joystick that UCR creates. Apparently the UJR website says to use UCR instead, which is no biggy. If you can't rebind/disable the axis via the F4 configurationmenu you might want to try UJR (Universal Joystick Remapper) with Vjoy, but it's quite complicated to use, or if you only want to remap buttons you can use J2K.įor a joystick I can recommend you the Thrustmaster T.16000 which has a very good price quality balance. The sticks on gamepads are springloaded so it's very inconvenient to use that for throttle, no matter what axis it is bound to.

Strijkbout: If you're really serious about playing F4, do yourself a favour and get a joystick.
